Requirements

  • Ensure quality care to all children

Duties:

  • Educators are responsible for the supervision and safety of the children at all times.
  • Educators are responsible for providing the children with a variety of developmentally appropriate activities throughout the day.
  • Models' appropriate behavior and practices positive child guidance
  • Able to redirect and manage big emotions
  • Ability to being a play partner with the children
  • Supports and practices inclusion
  • Able to modify the classroom/planning to support the needs of each child and diverse students
  • Ensures that confidentiality is always maintained
  • Understands and complies with: New Brunswick Childcare Facilities Standards, Family Service Act, Child Abuse and Neglect Protocol Practices
  • Understands and complies with Tree Tops Daycare philosophy.
  • Maintains a positive and friendly working environment
  • Maintains positive and friendly relationships with staff, families and the children
  • Ensures all documentation are completed correctly and adhere to record keeping as outlined by the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.95-$25.91 per hour

Schedule:

  • 6.5 hour shift (8AM-2:30PM)
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
