Surplus Furniture requires a Payroll Specialist to process all aspects of the company payroll. This will include processing payroll, maintaining records related to payroll, compiling, and examining employee payroll reports, assisting employees with questions regarding payroll, and all other duties as assigned for Canadian retail stores.

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven District Manager to oversee multiple locations within our district. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service across all sites. This role requires strong leadership skills and a strategic mindset to develop and implement effective business strategies.

Duties

  • Lead and manage the operations of multiple locations, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to increase market share and drive sales growth.
  • Oversee project management initiatives to enhance operational processes and improve efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying areas for process enhancement within the district.
  • Supervise and mentor location managers, providing guidance to ensure effective team performance and development.
  • Analyze performance metrics to assess operational success and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align district initiatives with corporate objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members to promote a positive brand image.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project management, business development, and sales within a retail or service-oriented industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams towards achieving common goals.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • A strategic thinker who is adaptable to changing market conditions and customer needs.
