Overview

We are seeking an experienced and confident Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at our renowned high-end steakhouse. This role is ideal for a driven professional with a passion for precision, consistency, and excellence—especially on the grill, the heart of our kitchen.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Lead the grill section during service, ensuring all steaks and proteins are cooked to exacting standard
  • Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen areas
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
  • Work collaboratively with the brigade to maintain a smooth, efficient, and positive kitchen environment.
  • Support team members during busy service periods to ensure smooth operations
  • Adhere to sanitation policies and health regulations to uphold a safe working environment

Requirements

  • Red Seal Certification or currently on an active path toward completing the designation.
  • Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
  • Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Previous experience in a high-volume, high-end, or fine-dining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of steak cuts, butchery basics, grill temperatures, and cooking techniques.
  • Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment required
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed
  • A positive attitude, teamwork-oriented mindset, and attention to detail
