Summary

Barry Enterprises is seeking a dedicated Security Specialist to join our team in Canada. Based in Canada, this role is vital in maintaining the safety and security of our clients' assets and personnel. As a Security Specialist, you will contribute to our mission of delivering professional and reliable security services.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor surveillance systems including CCTV to ensure safety.
  • Conduct regular patrols of client premises to deter and detect suspicious activity.
  • Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential threats.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.
  • Maintain detailed reports of daily activities and incidents.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
  • Uphold company standards of professionalism and accountability.
  • Support team members in achieving operational goals.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience or background in law enforcement or security roles.
  • Strong surveillance skills with knowledge of CCTV systems.
  • Ability to perform loss prevention activities effectively.
  • Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
  • Valid security license or certification as required by provincial regulations (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
