ServiceNow Technical Consultant (ITAM)

About the Team

You'll be part of SoftwareOne's global ServiceNow practice, working alongside experienced consultants and technical experts. Our team is passionate about delivering high-impact ITAM solutions and supporting each other's growth through knowledge sharing and innovation.

Role Purpose

As a ServiceNow ITAM Technical Consultant, you'll design, implement, and maintain IT Asset Management solutions using ServiceNow. You'll help clients gain visibility and control over their hardware and software assets, contributing to cost optimization and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and configure ServiceNow ITAM modules (HAM, SAM, Procurement, Contracts).
  • Lead client workshops to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation including architecture diagrams and test plans.
  • Troubleshoot issues and ensure platform stability and compliance.
  • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current with ServiceNow certifications and best practices.

Success Criteria

  • Delivery of stable, scalable, and compliant ITAM solutions with minimal post-deployment issues.
  • Positive stakeholder feedback and alignment of ITAM processes with strategic objectives.
  • Audit-ready documentation and consistent adherence to governance standards.
  • Achieve the chargeability goal established by management.
  • Active CSA certification and progress toward additional certifications relevant to assigned modules (e.g., ITSM, CIS-SAM, CIS-HAM). Participation in delta exams and credential maintenance activities as outlined by the ServiceNow Certification Maintain Program.

What we need to see from you
  • Experience with ServiceNow ITAM modules or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management and data normalization.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, APIs, and web technologies.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and customer-focused approach.

Target compensation for this role will be K CAD (mix of base salary and bonus). Actual offers may be higher or lower than this range and will be determined based on a variety of factors, including (but not limited to) candidates' qualifications, experience, education, and work location.
