Role description:

Arcadis is seeking a BIM Coordinator with expertise in Low Voltage systems to join its growing team. In this role, you will oversee and guide the BIM production team while collaborating with various groups, including Architectural teams across sectors such as Healthcare, Education, and Residential. Your specialized knowledge in Low Voltage systems will be instrumental in ensuring seamless integration and coordination across project designs.

Additionally, you will work closely with Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers, MEP professionals, and other disciplines and project partners to ensure accurate and efficient project execution. As a BIM Coordinator, you will contribute to Arcadis' broader mission of fostering cross-sector synergy—connecting Places, Mobility, and Resilience. Your work will emphasize empowering global work-sharing, driving standardization and optimization, and facilitating collaboration across sectors. You will also play a pivotal role in leveraging project data throughout its lifecycle, with a focus on incorporating Low Voltage systems into innovative solutions.

Role accountabilities:

  • Provide support to the production team as they develop project BIM deliverables, ensuring they align with Arcadis standards and best practices. When necessary, ensure compliance with client-specific standards based on the project's requirements, including low voltage systems such as security, telecommunications, and audio-visual systems.
  • Collaborate with project teams to troubleshoot workflow challenges and resolve technical issues
  • Oversee BIM deliverables to ensure that they meet client/project requirements with a focus on accurate representation and documentation of low voltage systems
  • Successfully complete assigned BIM support role tasks within budget and project deadlines
  • Proficient in authoring and reviewing BIM Execution Plans that align with established standards and procedures, including guidelines for low voltage systems design and coordination.
  • Make optimal use of software capabilities and make suggestions for expanding and development of software tools and/or adjustments of BIM models
  • Oversee the daily management of BIM project models, including regular reviews, audits, and updates of Autodesk Revit projects. Ensure compliance with office and client standards, maintain the required level of development, and enforce proper modeling and documentation practices.
  • Work closely with office Project Managers to anticipate upcoming BIM Services needs
  • Collaborate with the project teams to ensure the support and educational needs of staff and projects are being met

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience with BIM Concepts and industry standards
  • Strong knowledge of and proven practical background in Autodesk Revit and related BIM software and related software and hardware with a focus on Low Voltage systems
  • Completion of a relevant diploma or degree program from an accredited college or university
  • Must be an articulate, passionate, and persuasive communicator able to convey BIM concepts
  • Must demonstrate a collaborative attitude to thrive in a team-oriented work environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills

The salary range for this position is $66,000-$99,000. The base salary represents Arcadis' hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
