Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Site Supervisor to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will support the Site Supervisor in overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met. Your leadership will help coordinate subcontractors, manage safety protocols, and facilitate effective communication across teams. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills while contributing to large-scale construction projects that make a real impact.

Duties

  • Assist the Site Supervisor in managing daily operations on the construction site, ensuring work progresses according to schedule and safety standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and construction crews, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to verify work accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA) and project quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of site activities, including daily reports, safety logs, and change orders related to contracts.
  • Support project planning by assisting with scheduling.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in construction site supervision or management with a strong understanding of construction processes and safety protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and best practices for construction safety.
  • Supervising experience with a focus on team coordination, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Technical proficiency with tools and must be able to assist as required onsite.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
