Key Responsibilities:
- Support winter operations, including snow removal, salting and sanding walkways, clearing entrances and work areas, and maintaining safe site access during winter conditions.
- Assist tradespeople with construction activities, including material handling, site preparation, and clean-up.
- Load, unload, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and team leads to complete assigned tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite at all times.
- Adhere to company safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Skills:
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials (asset).
- Good communication skills.
Qualifications (Required):
- Previous construction or general labour experience (preferred but not required).
- Ability to work outdoors in winter conditions and perform snow and ice management duties.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
