Job Summary:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UI/UX Developer to design and implement user-centric digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will combine strong front-end development skills with a passion for intuitive design, ensuring seamless interaction and accessibility for all users.

This is a remote position open to candidates across Canada who can collaborate effectively in a distributed environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop responsive, interactive, and visually appealing user interfaces.
  • Translate UI/UX design wireframes and prototypes into high-quality code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, or Angular.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and product managers to deliver engaging user experiences.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to improve design decisions.
  • Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and accessibility.
  • Maintain design consistency across products by following brand guidelines and component libraries.
  • Stay up to date with emerging UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or a related field.
  • 1–8 years of experience in UI/UX development or front-end design.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular).
  • Proficiency with Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch for UI/UX design and prototyping.
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Knowledge of user-centered design, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Experience integrating APIs and working closely with backend developers.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with motion design or micro-interactions.
  • Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Exposure to design systems and component-based architectures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
