Duties

  • Safely operate trucks.
  • Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with regulations
  • Plan optimal routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle maintenance records
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups and deliveries

Skills

  • Proven experience in truck driving,
  • Must have 3+ years of driving experience.
  • Must have G license.
  • Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles.
  • Ability to load & unload and assemble furniture.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards for commercial drivers
  • Excellent navigation skills with the ability to plan efficient routes under tight schedules
  • Physical stamina for long hours of driving
  • Experience with delivery driver responsibilities and maintaining vehicle safety standards
