Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting freight efficiently and safely while maintaining high standards of service. As an Owner Operator, you will manage your own vehicle and operations, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to all regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate your own truck to transport freight across designated routes.
  • US visa required
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Manage vehicle maintenance and repairs, ensuring the truck is in optimal working condition.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
  • Utilize forklift operation skills when necessary for loading and unloading freight.
  • Ensure that all freight is secured properly during transport to prevent damage.

Requirements

  • Valid commercial driving license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Proven 3 year experience as an Owner Operator or in a similar driving role.
  • Strong knowledge of freight transportation regulations and safety standards.
  • Skills in automotive repair are a plus for maintaining your vehicle effectively.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment, including forklifts, as needed during loading/unloading processes.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
