Hours of Work: Mondays, 5:00-7:00
Sessional Dates of Appointment: January 1, April 30, 2026
Salary: $54.27 per hour

Qualifications: Applicants should have a completed PhD or (for non- U. of T. graduate students) equivalent, with major field in the relevant topic area. Demonstrated effectiveness as a teaching assistant, academic qualifications in the subject, ability to introduce students to a diverse range of approaches, and suitability for the position.
Description of Duties: Duties may include the teaching of small tutorial sections, marking of assignments, holding scheduled office hours and invigilation of exams; other duties as determined by the supervisor.

Preference in hiring is given to qualified individuals advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or Sessional Lecturer III in accordance with Article 14:12 of the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 collective agreement.
