Reporting to the Vice President, the Director, Corporate Functions Finance will serve as a strategic partner and relationship manager for a Corporate Function with a global budget of $300-500MM. They will be tasked with providing financial direction and insights that empower informed decision-making and drive the achievement of their Transformation goals.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Direct all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis for the Corporate Function's budget.
  • Align financials with business strategy by participating in senior leadership discussions.
  • Serve as the primary finance business partner, delivering strategic analysis on spending and investment prioritization.
  • Act as the primary contact for finance-related inquiries, ensuring clarity on allocations, accounting principles, and financial controls.
  • Establish and maintain robust financial governance ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and sustain strategic relationships across Finance, the Corporate Function, and Business Lines.
  • Foster collaboration and open communication as the primary finance point of contact for the Function.
  • Champion process improvements and automation to enhance transparency and efficiency.
  • Drive continuous improvement in management reporting, balancing value-added analysis with executive and operational demands.
  • Build a high-performing team by attracting, developing, and motivating talent through inclusive leadership and a coaching mindset.
  • Manage succession planning and promote a customer-focused, continuously learning culture.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We'd love to work with you if you have experience with:

  • University Degree in Business or similar discipline.
  • MBA, CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent is an asset.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to coach a team of financial professionals.
  • Ability to sustain a broad-based knowledge of the Bank's and Corporate Functions' strategy, operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Impactful storytelling with data
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and act with urgency
  • Strong judgment and trustworthiness; handles sensitive and confidential information.
  • Superior organizational and prioritization skills; must meet inflexible deadlines with high accuracy.
  • High proficiency in Excel.
  • Spanish language skills are an asset.
