We are looking for positive, caring team members who want to make a difference in the lives of seniors. More than just Senior Living.  It's a new life.Reporitng to the Controller, the Junior Accountant will form part of a dynamic accounting team responcible for overseeing the finacial operations of all Riverstone Retirement Communities.QUALIFICATIONS:FUNCTIONS:• Prepare banking via Deposit Edge• Prepare monthly HST returns• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations• Prepare and reconcile intercompany invoices• Post monthly recurring entries• Record a variety of GL entries• Prepare reconciliation of vendor invoices• Prepare various refunds• Prepare GL account analyses as required• Prepare ad-hoc reports and data analysis as required• Assist in Year-End file preparation for external auditorsEducation• Post-secondary education with specialization in AccountingBackground• Minimum of two years' experience in accounting• Must be skilled in ExcelPersonal Requirements• Excellent attention to detail• Ability to work in a high demand, fast-paced environment• Strong communication skills Riverstone Retirement is committed to being an Equal Opportunity Employer.  Please advise in advance if you require any accommodation during the application or selection process.  Any information you send us will be handled professionally, respectfully and in complete confidence.
