Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Moving Team Member, located in Calgary, AB. This part time position is for 15 to 20 hours a week currently. We work daytime hours only. Looking for a flexible individual as our schedule changes weekly. This is a great fit for post secondary students including international students currently enrolled at U of C.

The Moving Team Member will assist with the packing, unpacking, loading, and unloading of household items. Responsibilities include careful handling and transporting of clients' belongings, assisting with setting up the new home according to client preferences, and ensuring a smooth and stress-free moving experience. The role also involves working with a Team preparing and protecting items for transport and adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Experience in loading, and unloading household items is preferred.
  • Ability to handle and transport clients' belongings carefully
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in moving is an asset
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Physical ability to perform moving-related tasks with lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Previous experience in senior care or moving services is beneficial
  • A Team player who enjoys working hard in a fun environment
  • A good command of English is essential
  • Non Smoker is non negotiable
  • Must currently reside in Calgary, AB.

Remuneration $21 -$23/hour with increase after 3 month probationary period
