Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated 2nd, 3rd or 4th year Automotive Technician Apprentice to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role requires mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, tool box and tools and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles
  • Diagnose issues using schematics and technical manuals
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and assembly tasks
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle's needs
  • Assist in heavy lifting and moving of automotive parts as required
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Collaborate with other technicians to enhance team performance

Experience

  • Previous experience as an 2nd, 3rd or 4th year Automotive Technician Apprentice a must.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance
  • Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to lift heavy objects safely and efficiently
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $27.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
