The Behavioural Wellness Clinic ) is seeking someone with good phone, sales, and people skills to do new client intake calls. The ideal candidate would also have good social media skills for advertising campaigns. Job will begin at 25 hours a week, but can expand to full time if successful. Bonuses are available for new client recruitment.

Some administrative duties will be required as well, such as scheduling appointments and meetings, receiving payments, coordinating travel, ensuring records are complete and organized, writing & answering emails, assisting with research projects, purchasing, writing short articles for the clinic websites, running errands, helping with presentations, and conducting community outreach.

Knowledge of the discipline of psychology as it relates to mental health is ideal, as well as basic clerical skills with competency in using the Microsoft Office Suite. Individuals interested in this position should have an adequate understanding of the science and practice of psychology, be competent in cross-cultural interactions, and have the ability to plan and organize many tasks. Individuals should be self-motivated, reliable, a quick learner, and be able to operate with minimal oversight.

Ideally the successful candidate will have completed a degree in psychology or a related discipline, with an interest in expanding their career. This is an ideal position for a psychology or counseling graduate student or prospective doctoral student, as publication opportunities are available for motivated individuals.
