Position Summary

We are currently hiring a Retail Supervisor to support the day-to-day operations of our retail store. This role is ideal for a motivated, hands-on leader with strong customer service and sales experience. The Retail Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring operational excellence, leading a team of 10–15 staff, and contributing to the overall success of our store. This is a great opportunity for someone with prior retail or supervisory experience who is looking to grow within a dynamic and respected company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, coach, and support retail team members
  • Assign tasks and ensure smooth daily store operations
  • Ensure consistent weekend availability
  • Deliver excellent customer service and drive sales
  • Manage scheduling, staff coordination, and performance evaluations
  • Oversee inventory control, product rotation, and restocking
  • Operate POS systems and manage cash handling
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints efficiently
  • Prepare end-of-day reports and maintain store records
  • Contribute to social media and e-commerce content when needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and compliance with food safety regulations

Qualifications

  • Supervisory or leadership experience in retail or customer service
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and team management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Highly organized with multitasking capabilities
  • Familiarity with social media and online store operations is an asset
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Standing for extended periods
  • Bending, crouching, and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Exposure to cold environments
  • Handling and working with various seafood products

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Wage: $18.00 per hour
  • Commission: Eligible for commission on personal sales
  • Benefits: Offered in accordance with company policy
