The OpportunityReporting to the Senior Manager, Landscape Services, the Winter Landscape Service Technician plays a key role in maintaining the beautiful grounds of the Innovation Saskatchewan Research and Technology (R+T) Park in Saskatoon. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for snow removal, supporting landscaping activities and helping with the general upkeep of the R+T Park.
We're looking for someone with well-rounded winter landscaping knowledge, including experience operating snow blowers and mobile sidewalk cleaners, as well as the ability to manually shovel snow.

Primary ResponsibilitiesDuties include but are not limited to:
- Removing snow, ice and other debris from all surfaces (e.g., pedestrian walkways, building entrances and exterior stairways) in a timely manner to ensure safe and accessible routes.
- Performing seasonal grounds maintenance and assisting with landscaping projects using snow blowers, mobile sidewalk cleaners, hand tools and other related equipment.
- Assisting with maintenance of surrounding outdoor areas including converting the pond into a skating rink, managing waste and installing seasonal lighting.
- Conducting preventative maintenance on all vehicles and equipment, ensuring they continue running smoothly and safely.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- 2-3 years of landscaping or grounds-related maintenance experience (preferred).
- A clear Criminal Record Check and a valid driver's license (required).
- Passionate about working outdoors and landscaping.
- Driven and dependable, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with the Landscaping team.
- Demonstrates strong understanding of how to maintain a safe work environment to protect the well-being of self, co-workers, contractors and the public.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite.
