Trailcon Leasing is currently hiring a Parts & Operations Coordinator for our location in Edmonton, AL
Available Shift: Monday – Friday

What you will do as Operations Coordinator:
· Efficiently dispatch yard technicians and prioritize workloads to algin with customer expectations
· Approve work orders, review completed tasks, and conduct daily audits to ensure high-quality service.
· Cultivate new business opportunities while nurturing customer relationships, providing solutions to local and national accounts
· Proactively manage and service incoming customer requests, schedule in-house repairs, and ensure minimal downtime for mechanics to maximize customer satisfaction.
· Update the system with accurate inbound and outbound data related to trailer rentals and repairs, oversee the RTMI process, update rental agreements, and submit them to customers and the driver shunt log efficiently.
· Oversee customer projects to ensure timely and satisfactory completion.
· Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers regarding equipment availability and downtime/uptime.
· Build and nurture strong customer relationships, addressing any concerns or opportunities promptly and effectively.
· Maintain a safe work environment and assist in managing safety policies and procedures
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet and exceed customer expectations.
What you will do as a Parts Coordinator:
- Pick up and deliver parts
- Perform cycle counts
- Put stock orders away
- Empty/load and keep parts truck clean
- Communicate with mobile technicians to find out where they want parts delivered (that is to their truck or C-cans)
- Create a list for out-of- stock parts during shift and report to manager
- Transfer parts on computer to mobile units
- Pick up cores and drop off cores as needed
- Keep the parts room clean
- Ensure parts room is kept organized
- Assist with inventory count when needed
- Support the implementation and set up of parts testing stations
- Comply with applicable legislation, including safe operation, carriage of goods, occupational health and safety, and transportation of dangerous goods
- Assist management with the implementation of health and safety initiatives within the workplace
Qualifications:
· Minimum two (2) years of related experience and/or training in the transportation industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
· Previous parts counter experience and/or training in machine shop parts is considered an asset
· Valid driver's licence with a clean driving abstract
· Strong interpersonal skills and a proven track record in customer service
· Confident, outgoing, empathetic, and self-motivated with a customer-first mindset
· Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
· Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
· Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high service standards
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
· Comfortable speaking effectively with groups of customers or colleagues
· Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Teams
· Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
· Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and to create and interpret bar graphs
