Job Summary:

CIMCO is looking for a Project Engineer Co-op student to join our Engineering Department in Whitby, ON.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to development and design of industrial refrigeration systems
  • Assist in comprehensive drawing of mechanical and / or electrical systems
  • Realization of technical surveys
  • Selection and purchase of equipment, materials, and the tracking of orders
  • Preparation of "For Coordination", "For Construction" and "As Built" plans
  • Preparation of instruction and operation manuals
  • Monitoring work on multiple construction site(s)

Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

  • Currently pursing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
  • Training and / or experience with AutoCAD and Revit (3D modeling)
  • Ability to work with microcomputer
  • English spoken and written
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment
