A public sector client is seeking a Senior Specialized IT Consultant to support the alignment of the Provincial Client Registry (PCR) with immunization-related client identifiers. This role supports a major Immunization Repository initiative within a broader public health digital platform, contributing to improved data integration, interoperability, and system optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure alignment between PCR and immunization data identifiers
  • Design, develop, and maintain data-in/data-out APIs and interfaces
  • Support ETL workflows and data alignment activities across multiple systems
  • Enhance data validation, error handling, and interface functionality (including FHIR queries)
  • Develop and update PCR add/update transaction interfaces
  • Document ETL designs, workflows, and processes
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver milestones
  • Provide thorough knowledge transfer, documentation, walkthroughs, and demos prior to engagement end

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience with IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management (Identity Hub / Standard Edition)
  • 5+ years' experience with Java development and IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS)
  • 5+ years' experience with ETL processes and data remediation
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases
  • Experience with distributed messaging/streaming (e.g., Kafka)
  • Experience with container-based development (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
  • Strong troubleshooting and remediation expertise
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, QA, and release management
  • Knowledge of healthcare systems and immunization-related workflows
  • Familiarity with Ontario health privacy legislation (PHIPA, FIPPA, HPPA) and AODA standards

Nice to Have

  • Experience with HL7 messaging, Cloverleaf Integration Suite, and IBM InfoSphere DataStage
  • Experience supporting public health or jurisdictional immunization programs
