General Labourer/Snow Removal

Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Snow Removal Operators to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating snow removal equipment to ensure safe and efficient clearing of snow from bus stops and other designated areas during winter weather conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and the ability to work in challenging weather conditions.
Duties
- Operate snow removal equipment to clear snow and ice city sidewalks
- Maintain and inspect snow removal equipment before and after use to ensure proper functionality.
- Inspects machine and notify management of any issues and concerns daily
- Perform light maintenance on machinery; refueling, lubing grease points, maintaining machine cleanliness
- Assist in digging out areas that require additional attention during heavy snowfall.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts effectively.
- Follow safety protocols to minimize risks while operating machinery in adverse weather conditions.
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Eye for detail, great attitude, and a customer-first approach
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain snow removal equipment.

- Valid Drivers License G
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Physically capable to complete the outlined job requirements
- Follow instructions provided competently and efficiently

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)

- English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Class G Licence (required)
