Position Overview
MRR is seeking an Inside Sales/Business Development professional to support our expanding North American customer base. In this role, you'll be on the front line of MRR's growth, engaging new prospects through outbound outreach, qualifying opportunities, and clearly communicating how MRR's solutions deliver value.
Through consistent follow‑up and strong communication, you'll help advance opportunities through the sales pipeline and build early‑stage relationships that develop into long‑term partnerships. You'll also play a key role in maintaining pipeline visibility and discipline, ensuring opportunities are accurately documented, actively followed up on, and continually progressed.
No odorization experience? No problem. We'll provide the training and tools you need to succeed. Your drive, resilience, and customer-first mindset are what matter most.
This is a remote/telework position and you can live anywhere in Canada. We're committed to hiring the most qualified candidate, regardless of location, and providing the support you need to thrive. Some travel will be required for training.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and qualify leads through research and networking.
- Sales Outreach: Conduct cold and warm outreach via phone, email, and digital communication to prospective clients.
- Client Needs Analysis: Engage in consultative conversations to understand customer pain points, business challenges, and objectives.
- Pipeline Management: Manage and track leads, opportunities, and sales activities using the CRM.
- Collaboration: Work closely with operations to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Sales Targets: Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas and performance metrics.
- Market Intelligence: Stay informed of industry trends and evolving customer needs to position MRR's products and services effectively.

You bring a positive, professional presence to every interaction and are energized by engaging new contacts & opportunities. Requirements
- Demonstrated success and comfort with outbound prospecting.
- 3-5 years of experience in Inside Sales or Business Development.
- Experience in the oil & gas or energy industry is a benefit.
- Ability to use persuasive communication skills, tailored to client needs, to effectively negotiate and close sales, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Experience with CRM and Pipeline Management.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new client relationships and maintain existing ones using innovative solutions and a strategic sales approach.
- Continuously strives to achieve top results and improve personal and team performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Full training in all aspects of odorization.
