Precision Sheet Metal Opportunity in Skilled Trades.

WeMovePeople is looking for a skilled Machine Operator for a key manufacturing role near Winnipeg.

Key Role Details

  • What you do: Safely and accurately cut, trim, and punch sheet metal to specification.

  • Equipment: Operate hand tools and machinery including CNC, overhead cranes, grinders, and drill presses.

  • Core Tasks: Read and interpret drawings/specifications , perform quality checks , and complete preventative maintenance.

Requirements
  • Up to 2 years' experience in manufacturing.

  • Blueprint reading experience and a mechanical aptitude.

  • Experience with CNC machine and Forklift operation is a strong asset.

  • Must be highly detail-oriented and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment

  • Setting: Fast-paced industrial/manufacturing environment with set quotas.

  • Schedule: May require shift work and overtime.

  • Safety: Strict adherence to safety; PPE is required.
