GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Moll Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day assistance of the Moll Die Cutter in the Print Transition Department and reports to the Lead Hand, Press Coordinator and Department Manager. Follow all safety procedures, understand all safety equipment and adhere to the company policies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Gathering and offloading Die Cut material.Assist Moll Operator during set up and daily processes when applicable.Use of hand jacks and scissor jacks.Work efficiently.Understand and follow machine maintenance schedules and procedures.Follow safe work procedures.Follow all quality check processes at the beginning and throughout the run.Moving and Organizing skids of paper material.Report all quality and safety issues to Manager, Supervisor and Lead Hand.Must be knowledgeable in Metric and Standard measuring system .Follow the job schedule for what jobs to be working on, and in what order.Be able to maintain machine daily production targets.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Strong attention to detail and high level of organization.Must have the ability to multitask.Ability to work as part of a team.Positive work ethic and excellent attendance record.Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or Level 12 G.E.D.Machine operator/production experience an asset.Knowledge of measuring systems is an asset.
