MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Supply Chain Professional to provide sourcing and procurement support for medium complexity projects. This role focuses on implementing sourcing strategies, managing procurement processes from strategy to award, and supporting operational teams to optimize supply chain performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing and procurement strategies for medium-value, medium-complexity projects.
  • Prepare and manage procurement documents, including RFPs, RFQs, RFTs, and contracts.
  • Lead supplier evaluations, negotiations, and relationship management initiatives.
  • Identify supply risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Report regularly on sourcing initiatives and escalate potential issues.
  • Support process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and project teams.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in business, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of procurement/sourcing experience in mid-level to senior roles.
  • SCMP designation or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management practices, inventory control, and project-specific procurements.
  • Experience with SAP S4Hana or similar ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of contract and competitive bid laws.
  • Proactive, strategic problem solver, able to gather information independently.

Nice To Have

  • Experience in government or crown corporation environments.
  • Access to a car and valid Class 5 driver's license.
