Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and support the overall health and well-being of our patients. Duties

  • Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning and polishing teeth to remove plaque, tartar, and stains
  • Take and develop dental radiographs as needed
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
  • Assist with patient examinations and record keeping using Dentrix or similar dental management software
  • Support the dental team during procedures, including assisting with orthodontic or pediatric cases if applicable
  • Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure a clean, safe clinical environment
  • Manage patient questions and concerns with excellent customer service skills
  • Document treatment plans and patient information accurately using medical terminology

Requirements

  • Valid Dental Hygiene license in good standing
  • Experience with Paradigm or similar dental office management software preferred
  • Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures is a plus
  • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations
  • Previous dental office experience is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated candidates willing to learn
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
  • Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care
  • Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
