Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our NEW dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care, promoting oral health, and ensuring a comfortable experience for all patients. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in educating patients about oral hygiene practices and assisting in various dental procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess the health of patients' teeth and gums.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
  • Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
  • Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the dental software system.
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
  • Maintain sterilization of instruments and cleanliness of the treatment area.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care for patients, including those in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.

Qualifications

  • Valid license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with patients.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dentistry is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a dental office setting is advantageous
  • Knowledge of dental practice management software is beneficial.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient care.
