Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of industrial maintenance practices. This role is crucial in ensuring that all equipment and systems function efficiently, contributing to the overall productivity of our manufacturing processes.

Duties

  • Lead and manage the maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies, including preventive and corrective maintenance programs.
  • Oversee project management for maintenance-related initiatives, ensuring timely completion within budget.
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and manage work orders.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems, identifying areas for improvement or repair.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards in all maintenance activities.
  • Manage HVAC systems, low voltage electrical systems, and other mechanical components as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a management role within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, HVAC systems, and industrial maintenance practices.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their applications in maintenance tasks.
  • Experience using CMMS for tracking maintenance activities is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance improvement.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with team members and other departments.
