**S2223-25 Maintenance Handyman - Lac La Biche Area**

**We are seeking a part-time (0.50 fte) Maintenance Handyman to commence as soon as possible. **Under the supervision of the Director of Facilities, the Maintenance Handyman will perform a variety of duties in the grounds and maintenance areas.

**The successful applicant will be responsible for**:

- Assisting in the repair and maintenance of buildings, systems, facilities, equipment and grounds
- Performing semi-skilled work in/on the division facilities and grounds
- Operating equipment, including single-axle truck, bobcat, mowers, tractor, hand and power tools, etc
- Inspecting, troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance functions as necessary
- Maintaining, servicing and performing minor repairs to equipment

**Preference will be given to applicants who**:

- Have knowledge of various trade skills such as, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting, etc
- Work independently or under direction of a Journeyman
- Posses the ability to work well with others and be self motivated
- Comply with health and safety codes, laws and procedures
- Have strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Posses a valid Class 5 Driver's License
