Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage in outside sales of baked goods and pastries, develop new business, and manage key accounts across various industries. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in B2B sales, territory management, and customer relationship management (CRM) software, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and driving revenue growth.
$19-$20 hourly base pay , 4% commission on all sales plus bonuses.
Duties
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand our customer base within assigned territories.
- Conduct outside sales activities including cold calling, lead generation, and direct sales presentations.
- Manage existing accounts through ongoing communication, upselling, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Perform product demonstrations to prospective clients to showcase features and benefits.
- Manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data.
- Identify new market opportunities through analysis skills and industry research.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with clients to close deals effectively.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns for territory growth.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and customer interactions for reporting purposes.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally.
Requirements
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or territory management.
- Strong understanding of management principles related to account management and business development.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with effective communication abilities.
- Ability to conduct engaging product demos and presentations tailored to client needs.
- Demonstrated success in cold calling, lead generation, and direct sales efforts.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies that support inside sales and retail sales initiatives.
- Strong analysis skills for identifying market trends and opportunities for upselling or expanding territory coverage.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Experience in technology or product-specific sales is a plus, along with familiarity in retail or industrial sectors.
