LeverageTek is actively seeking a Systems Analyst (Docebo LMS) for a 6-month contract with its Ottawa-based customer.

Work Location

Hybrid (1-day a week onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

Breakdown and allocation of responsibilities as follows:

Technical Business Stakeholder Engagement – Approximately 25% of time allocation

  • Collaborates closely with client groups and technical partners to elicit and document business requirements for technical solutions.
  • Provides a bridge between the business requirements and the technical definition of the system to ensure proper translation of business requirements to technical solution requirements.
  • Manages and maintains business requirements and design information from inception to retirement to ensure validity and accuracy.
  • Establishes meaningful relationships between related requirements and designs to verify that the proposed solution meets the defined needs of the client groups.
  • Identifies solution options that meet business needs and estimates the potential value that could be realized for each solution option to confirm that the proposed solutions are optimal.

Software and Application Support – Approximately 50% time allocation

  • Provides Level 2 or Level 3 application-specific support, including troubleshooting and configuration and changes to settings, to the user community as defined by service level objectives.
  • Provides Functional Support through the configuration of systems according to business's needs and works to understand a business' processes to manage the day-to-day functioning of a program or system.
  • Works with other support resources including third-party vendors to ensure the successful resolution of issues.
  • Ensures that use cases are complete and consistent and addresses all requirements by coordinating application releases, development and enhancements or fixes.
  • Manages the list of application issues and follows them through investigation, troubleshooting, resolution, and implementation.
  • Makes recommendations for solutions where appropriate and updates the ticket management system.

Testing and Quality Assurance - Approximately 15% time allocation

  • Supports the development and maintenance of test plans and test cases to ensure that the solutions function as designed.
  • Supports user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet user requirements and are properly signed off prior to promotion to a Production environment.
  • Supports Systems Integration Testing (SIT) to ensure new and existing system components are working as expected before UAT.
  • Helps to coordinate and execute the testing of new and existing applications to ensure that the application performs according to user requirements and within established guidelines.

Software Training - Approximately 10% time allocation

  • Supports training requirements, prepares training plans, and produces training material to ensure high adoption of the solution.
  • Helps to keep training material current and up to date with every release of the system to ensure that the material matches any changes to the solution.
  • Works with the client to develop and deliver the necessary project team and user training to ensure that the solutions are well understood and utilized properly.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in Tier 2 / 3 Application support with a focus on SharePoint Online and Learning Management Systems.
  • Candidates much have a strong background in SharePoint Online in a capacity such as SharePoint Administrator or SharePoint Developer.
  • Candidates must have a strong background and experience with API integrations, web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and RESTful services.

Other Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of learning technology ecosystems and SCORM/xAPI standards.
  • Proven experience with API integrations, web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and RESTful services.
  • Experience working within agile development environments and using tools like Azure DevOps.

Assets

  • 2-3+ years of experience in LMS administration and development, preferably with Docebo
  • Experience with MS Power Apps and Power Automate is a strong asset
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PMI-ACP)
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, IIBA-AAC)
  • Disciplined Agile Scrum Master (DASM) Certification
