Position Title: Director, Strategic Delivery

Supervises: Manager, Strategic Delivery Coordination

The Director, Strategic Delivery is responsible for leading the coordination and tracking of the corporate strategic action plan, ensuring effective execution and the adoption of improved processes that strengthen communication with regions, ACI members, and all ACI staff. The Director ensures alignment, clarity, and sustained momentum for key strategic priorities, while cultivating a culture of collaboration and accountability.

The Director also leads the coordination of select internal global projects and supports their deployment and integration across the organization. This includes facilitating the implementation and ongoing enhancement of tools, processes, and industry task forces�most notably the adoption, effective usage, and continuous improvement of the ACI CRM platform.

This role serves as a critical bridge between strategic planning and operational execution, providing project management expertise, guidance, and seamless communication across global teams and regions. The Director champions innovation and continuous improvement to support ACI�s strategic objectives.

Supervisory responsibilities: 2 direct reports

The Director oversees the work of the Manager Strategic Delivery Coordination and the CRM Database Specialist for ongoing alignment, staff engagement, support and guidance.

I. Major Functions Responsibilities:

  • Lead the coordination and tracking of strategic initiative execution and the delivery of the Action Plan, leveraging effective project management tools and frameworks.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular reporting on the status and outcomes of strategic initiatives (Action Plan).
  • Guide the maintenance, enhancement, and overall effectiveness of project management tools and practices.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and meaningful engagement with key stakeholders.
  • Oversee the coordination and tracking of new internal processes aimed at strengthening communication between ACI World and regional offices, including interactions with ACI members and supporting ongoing reporting.
  • Drive processes to measure, assess, and optimize the effectiveness of internal, regional, and member communication workflows.
  • Lead the deployment of internal ACI projects and tools, ensuring alignment with teams and staff, monitoring usage, and providing regular updates.
  • In collaboration with Strategy Coordination & Execution leadership, CRM power users, the Microsoft Dynamics Specialist, and the ACI Governance Steering Committee, lead and manage the ongoing adoption, enhancement, and deployment of the ACI CRM platform.
  • Manage the CRM Database Specialist, ensuring alignment, staff engagement, and support for CRM champions, as well as oversight of day-to-day activities.
  • Supervise the Manager, Strategic Delivery Coordination, in their daily responsibilities and performance.

  • Knowledge of the aviation industry would be an advantage.

III. Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years in Project management certification / equivalent experience and knowledge of project management essentials (planning, tracking, reporting.)
  • Minimum 3 years of strategic coordination experience
  • Proven track record in CRM involvement: implementation, usage, and/or management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Data visualization and reporting expertise
  • Project management software proficiency
  • Digital collaboration tools expertise
  • Sound proficiency in using Microsoft suite of products (PowerPoint, Word, Excel.)
  • Experience working or dealing with international organizations would be an asset
