VDK Group Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Door Production Operator to join our growing team. This hands-on role is responsible for the efficient and accurate manufacturing of residential and commercial door products in our production facility. The successful candidate will have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and quality. What You'll Do
- Operate machinery and tools used in the production and assembly of doors
- Cut, assemble, and finish door components according to company specifications and quality standards
- Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure accuracy and quality control
- Follow production schedules and meet daily/weekly targets
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and housekeeping standards
- Assist in troubleshooting production issues and perform minor equipment maintenance
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to ensure production efficiency
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production (woodworking, metal, or door/window manufacturing experience is an asset)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand and power tools
- High attention to detail with a focus on producing quality workmanship
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and contribute to a team environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes, products, and equipment
- Physical ability to lift, move, and handle materials and products as required
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is an asset
