**What You’ll Do**
- Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machinery and related equipment to produce components according to production drawings and specifications
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements
- Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each job, ensuring efficient setup and changeovers
- Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain tight tolerances and product quality
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications
- Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs
- Collaborate with production supervisors, quality control, and engineering teams to resolve technical or production issues
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste
**What You’ll Bring**
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Experience operating CNC machines (milling, routing, or turning); experience in wood, metal, or aluminum machining is an asset
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Competence in using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment
- 2+ years of experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar machining role (manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining or CNC operation is an asset
