About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, experienced Class A Driver to join our fast‑paced transport and recovery team. This position involves traveling to various sites, hooking up tow‑behind units, and safely transporting them back to our shop for inspection and customer delivery. The role requires independence, problem‑solving, and the ability to work under time-sensitive conditions.

This is a salary‑based position, with additional bankable hours for extra loads or last‑minute assignments. Candidates must be comfortable spending time away from home and working in a dynamic, on‑the‑go environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to assigned locations with tow‑behind vehicle to pick up equipment
  • Successful connection and care or tow vehicle and equipment
  • Transport units safely back to the shop for inspection and customer delivery
  • Perform loading and unloading of trucks as required
  • Conduct minor onsite diagnostics and repairs when needed (e.g., swapping batteries, alternators, or basic running repairs)
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and follow all safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and shop staff
  • Represent the company professionally at all times

Requirements

  • Valid Class A license
  • Minimum 5 years of driving experience
  • Valid passport with no restrictions for cross‑border travel
  • Ability to lift 45–75 lbs
  • Willingness to travel frequently and spend time away from home
  • Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
  • Mechanical experience is considered a strong asset
  • Ability to work independently and handle last‑minute scheduling changes
