About the position: 

The Territory Sales Manager is responsible for actively pursuing tradition battery markets.  In the position, you will have the autonomy to use your previous sales experience to build relationships and secure sales with new clients and customers. You will also work with the Operations Team and the Regional Sales Team to coordinate your sales efforts to expand Canadian Energy sales.

The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience working in the Battery Industry, the Automotive Industry, or the Heavy Trucking Industry. We are looking for someone who is eager to utilize their previous sales experience in a dynamic environment. The focus of this position will be growing new business for Canadian Energy, if you are self-motivated, results driven, and energized by achieving business growth targets, apply today 

As a Canadian Energy team member, a typical week will include the following:

  • Conducting sales presentations.
  • Perform professional presentations or demonstrations of company product(s)/service(s) while on-site.
  • Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin the sales process.
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via telephone and e-mail cross-sell and up-sell.
  • Emphasize product/service features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
  • Build and foster a network of referrals to create new opportunities for revenue growth.

The Location:

This position is based in London. Your territory will encompass an area from London to Richmond Hill, with some longer trips being required periodically.

Requirements:

  • Relevant post-secondary education and/or equivalent experience.
  • 3 - 5-years proven B2B sales experience.
  • An ongoing commitment to product and service knowledge.
  • A clean Class 5 driver's license.
  • Physically fit with the ability to consistently lift 50lbs.
  • The ability to travel throughout Canada.
  • The ability to pass a background check and provide a driver's abstract.
  • Experience in the automotive industry.
  • Warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment experience.
