R. F. Staples Secondary School (Gr 7-12), located in Westlock, Alberta, approximately 90 km northwest of Edmonton, requires a Temporary Full Time Senior High CTS (Foods and Art) Teacher. This position commences as soon as possible and will end December 19, 2025, with the potential for extension subject to school need and availability.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Alberta teaching certificate
  • Proficiency in the use of educational technology
  • Understanding and application of assessment for learning as demonstrated by individualized instruction
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Requirements:

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of the Alberta Curriculum
  • Ability and willingness to travel and work with students, and parents
  • Ability to teach to and address a wide range of student needs

  • Maintain close contact with students, parents, and other stakeholders
  • Monitor, guide and support students in their progress
