Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lube Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to perform routine vehicle maintenance efficiently. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to ensure vehicle safety and performance. Prior dealership or mechanic experience is highly valued, and candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting and automotive repair tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections with precision and attention to detail
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment to complete service tasks efficiently
  • Assist customers by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all safety protocols are followed during service procedures
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as fluid top-offs, filter replacements, and belt inspections
  • Support the sales team by providing technical knowledge about vehicle services and maintenance options
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet service deadlines and uphold quality standards

Experience

  • Dealership experience or previous mechanic background is preferred
  • Strong mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair and maintenance
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment
  • Customer service experience with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Physical ability for heavy lifting and working in various positions for extended periods
  • Familiarity with automotive systems, diagnostics, and routine service procedures is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$27.01 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
