We are seeking a skilled Industrial Millwright / Electrician to join our maintenance team. This position is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial mechanical and electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
Wonderbrands, Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador SHIFT: Full-Time, Mon – Fri / Schedule of bakery, availability required (flexibility with working overtime, and on weekends, as necessary) WAGE: Starting from $36.28/ hour.

ResponsibilitiesElectrical Duties:
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems
• Diagnose and repair motors, motor controls, VFDs, PLC I/O, and control panels
• Perform electrical testing using meters and diagnostic tools
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
Millwright Duties:
• Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and equipment
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and manuals
General Responsibilities:
• Minimize downtime through efficient troubleshooting and repairs
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Follow all workplace health and safety policies, including lockout/tagout procedures
Job Requirements:
• Journeyperson Industrial Electrician and/or Millwright certification (dual ticket preferred)
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial automation considered an asset
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Physically capable of performing industrial maintenance tasks and OK with occasional lifting up to 50LBS
• Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills
• You're a problem solver with good communication skills who works well with a team and independently
• As part of an exciting flexible Team, your day will be typically 20% Electrical work, and 80% mechanical and miscellaneous duties. No two days will be the same.
• You really enjoy working in a fast paced environment where every day can bring new and unique challenges
• You have some experience with instrumentation, but it's not required
• You have two years' of industrial, electrical and mechanical experience, preferably in the food industry
• Ability to work a flexible shift day/afternoon/night, Sunday to Saturday, and holidays.
