Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Occupational Therapist, based in London, ON, with some flexibility for working from home. The primary responsibilities include collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans, providing direct occupational therapy services to clients, and supporting clients with rehabilitation to improve their daily living skills. Additional tasks include effectively communicating with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care, maintaining detailed documentation, and staying informed about best practices and innovations in occupational therapy.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Occupational Therapy with a strong focus on rehabilitation practices
  • Experience working within medical or healthcare settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, families, and team members
  • Background in pediatrics or experience working with children is an asset
  • Registered or eligible to register with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel to client appointments
  • Knowledge of applicable disability benefits and healthcare system navigation is an asset
