Brilliant Minds Counselling and Therapy Centre is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in London, ON.

Two Models of employment available. Hourly paid employment with a health care spending account or

Employment Type

  • Contractor (self-employed)
  • We provide the space, the clients, the charting and booking software and admin support. The therapist completes assessments and treatments and is paid a commission percentage of the amount billed
  • This is a commission-based role. Therapists are paid a percentage of the amount billed. The more clients you see, the more you earn — ideal for self-starters who are motivated to build their caseload and income.
  • The therapist will have consistent weekly hours on set days, which will be determined collaboratively during the hiring process to allow for flexibility based on the successful applicant's availability.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete assessments, reports, and treatment for children and teens
  • In-clinic required, home visits optional
  • Evaluate the child's progress and provide feedback to parents or family members
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (e.g., social workers, BCBA etc.)to facilitate the implementation of intervention strategies
  • Communicate effectively with parents and children in a positive manner
  • Maintain accurate documentation of data in the charting system
