Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Associate Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting various analytical functions within the organization, contributing to decision-making processes, and enhancing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of retail operations, and the ability to communicate effectively across departments.

Duties

  • Conduct data analysis to support business decisions and operational improvements
  • Assist in the development and implementation of strategies for merchandising, pricing, and inventory management
  • Collaborate with team members on recruiting efforts, including interviewing and onboarding new staff
  • Support payroll processing and ensure accurate record-keeping for employee hours and compensation
  • Engage in budgeting activities to monitor expenses and optimize resource allocation
  • Provide training and development for team members to enhance their skills and performance
  • Manage customer service initiatives to improve client satisfaction and retention
  • Oversee cash handling procedures to ensure accuracy in transactions and reporting
  • Participate in store management activities, including supervising staff and maintaining operational standards

Skills

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes positively
  • Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse clientele
  • Experience in recruiting, training & development, and team management within a retail environment
  • Proficient in payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and administrative tasks
  • Solid understanding of merchandising principles, retail sales strategies, and POS systems
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail for accurate data analysis
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written, including phone etiquette
  • Ability to manage time effectively while juggling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in math for budgeting and pricing analysis
