Nu Edge Construction is currently hiring a Water & Sewer Foreman. This role would be joining Nu Edge Construction Ltd.'s workforce as a valuable colleague
Details:
● Start Date: ASAP
● Duration: Full Time
● Shift: Monday – Friday. Weekends/Overtime as required.
● Location: Camrose/Rural, Alberta - must be willing to travel
● Compensation: Hourly $40+ Based on Experience and Education
What you do:
● Supervise and train crew members to promote the most efficient and safe work procedures
● Ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity of site projects
● Collaborate with Project Manager(s) to coordinate project activities, resolve issues and drive successful completion of project
● Work safely in a labor-intensive work environment
● Lead crew members with initiative and model safety through conducting hazard assessments, site inspections, and adhering to all OH & S standards
● Monitor productivity throughout the project life cycle and making
● Ensure safety for all team members and property
● Work as part of a team and follow directions from supervisor
● Complete required paperwork for projects and jobs
What background and skills qualify you:
● Experience in working in civil construction industry with experience as a foreman or lead hand
● Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings and specifications
● Valid certification or combination of CSTS-09 CSTS -20 - Required
● Clean Class 5 required
● Able to provide a negative result on a pre-employment drug and alcohol test (job specific)

- Able to perform physically demanding work that may include carrying heavy objects, and using various equipment
