Job Description

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable General Labourer to join our upholstery team. This role involves supporting upholstery work, preparing furniture, handling materials, and assisting upholsterers with daily tasks. No prior upholstery experience is required, but experience in general labour, furniture, or related fields is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Assist upholsterers in preparing and finishing furniture pieces
  • Remove old fabric, padding, and staples from furniture
  • Handle and organize upholstery materials and fabrics
  • Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely
  • Lift, move, and set up furniture pieces as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Perform other general labour tasks as required

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in general labour, furniture, or related field is an asset
  • Ability to use hand tools and follow instructions
  • Physically capable of lifting and moving furniture (up to 50 lbs)
  • Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • Willingness to learn upholstery skills on the job
  • Team player with a positive attitude
