A welcoming family dental practice in Stouffville is looking for a reliable and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant to join its close-knit team. Our office is paperless and equipped with modern technology, so comfort with computers and technology is essential. The ideal candidate is a friendly and dependable team player who is motivated to provide patient-focused care.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and seating patients

  • Operatory setup and cleanup

  • Chairside dental assisting

  • Taking digital x-rays, scans, and impressions

  • Sterilization duties

  • Assisting the receptionist

  • Ordering supplies and dental materials

Schedule:

  • 3–4 days per week, plus one Saturday per month. Two Saturdays per month may be available if preferred.

Office Hours:

  • Monday: 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.

  • Tuesday: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

  • Wednesday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

  • Thursday: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

  • Saturday: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. (The office is open two Saturdays per month and is closed on all long weekends.)

Compensation:

  • $26–$30/hour, based on experience and skills.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a Level II Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) Certificate Program in Canada (NDAEB preferred)

  • At least 6 months of paid, full-time experience as a CDA in Canada

  • HARP certified

  • Positive attitude, team player, self-motivated, reliable, and punctual

  • Excellent language and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with patients both in person and over the phone.

  • Comfortable replying to texts and emails with proper grammar and spelling.

Assets:

  • Reception experience (willing to train)

  • Knowledge of Dentrix
