Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and customer service expertise to effectively manage the team and drive sales.

Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Interact with customers to assess their needs, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with services rendered.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial records related to service operations.
  • Promote upselling of services and products to maximize revenue while maintaining customer trust.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop promotional strategies for service offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies within the service area.
  • Maintain an organized environment that promotes teamwork and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a dealership environment is highly preferred.
  • Proven customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Sales experience, particularly in automotive services, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with automotive repair processes and technologies.
  • Ability to effectively upsell services while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with strong organizational abilities.
