We're a small but growing company looking for an experienced
Bookkeeper / Office Administrator
to take ownership of our day-to-day accounting and office operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who's detail-oriented, proactive, and enjoys working in a hands-on environment where every day brings something new.
What You'll Do:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Handle accounts payable/receivable, GST/HST, WSIB payments, and foreign exchange transactions
- Prepare financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) and assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Use
Microsoft Dynamics 365
to manage financial data and streamline processes - Support year-end activities and liaise with external accountants/auditors
- Oversee office operations — managing correspondence, supplies, and general administration
- Provide administrative support to leadership and help keep the office running smoothly
What We're Looking For:
- 5–7 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
and the Microsoft Office Suite - Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of ADP payroll is an asset
- A team player who can also work independently and take initiative
