Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and patient Tutor to provide personalised academic support to students across various age groups. Duties

  • Deliver one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in specific subjects, tailored to individual student needs
  • Develop customised lesson plans and educational materials to enhance learning outcomes
  • Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
  • Support students with organisational skills and study techniques
  • Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that boosts confidence and motivation
  • Communicate effectively regarding student development
  • Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and progress reports

Requirements

  • Education background in teaching preferred
  • Proven experience in tutoring or teaching preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
  • Passion for education and supporting student success
  • Organised, reliable, and able to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in education or subject-specific areas are desirable but not mandatory
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and English (native or near-native fluency).

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
